HM EyeJah is a rising Afro-Dancehall artist from Ghana whose music reflects a deep sense of identity, resilience, and joy. His sound fuses Highlife roots, Caribbean rhythms, Afrobeat flavor, and vivid storytelling—creating music that uplifts, inspires, and moves the crowd while bridging Dancehall with the vibrant pulse of modern Afrobeat.
Born Solomon Badasu Gbeve on 15th November 2000 in Tema, he is the only male and second of four siblings. To embark on his musical journey, he adopted the name HM (HeroMade) EyeJah (Eyes of Jah), meaning “apple of God’s eye.” The name reflects his unwavering faith in God as creator and protector, inspired by Psalm 17:8 — “Keep me as the apple of the eye, hide me under the shadow of thy wings.”
Currently based in Kpone-on-Sea in Ghana’s Greater Accra Region—bordered by Tema, Prampram, the Gulf of Guinea, and Ashaiman—HM EyeJah grew up in a culturally rich environment surrounded by Ghanaian Highlife, Afrobeat, Dancehall, and global Reggae influences. These early experiences helped shape and fine-tune his musical identity, giving rise to a distinctive voice that celebrates authenticity and upliftment.
Since signing with RiverJam Entertainment, HM EyeJah has built an impressive portfolio and a loyal fanbase through his socially conscious songwriting and high-energy performances. His songs often explore themes of faith, perseverance, and celebration, reminding listeners to stay positive through life’s struggles.
From reflective Dancehall rhythms to electrifying Afrobeat anthems, HM EyeJah continues to showcase his versatility with every release. Poised to become one of the defining voices in the Afro-Dancehall movement, he represents a fresh wave of Ghanaian creativity that resonates far beyond the continent.
